NHL Playoffs Round 3

Ok, normally when someone does predictions they do so before the event starts. I apologize that I haven't had a chance to do so until now. I have not seen the result for the first game today (you can believe that or not).

Like the first round, my Western Conference predictions were right on. I'm 6 for 6 there. The Eastern Conference is a different story. I was wrong with both series in the second round, and I have been incorrect for 5 of the 6 series so far, including my Stanley Cup Champion pick (Pittsburgh).

Perhaps you can take that into account with the next round. Here's how I see it:

East

Montreal vs. Philadelphia - Canadians in 6. The Flyers pulled off one of the most amazing comebacks I've ever seen in my 40 years of watching sports. However, the Canadians have three things going for them: an amazing goalie that reminds me of some one named Roy from a few years back; timely scoring; great chemistry. That's more than enough to take them to the finals.

West

Chicago vs. San Jose - Sharks in 7. I picked them in 7 last round and they made generally easy work of the dangerous Red Wings. I honestly see this as the fight for the Stanley Cup because I strongly believe the winner of this series will go all the way. It should be a great one.

Please share your thoughts and enjoy the games : )
